ToastMasters Leaders Club

A good speech exhausts the topic, but not the audience.

What is the ToastMasters Leaders Club?

This Club is a place where you can learn to present yourself while giving speeches. You learn to carefully construct your ability to present yourself socially. This is achieved by learning how to prepare a professional speech and how to speak properly in public. The meetings are held in Polish language.

The ToastMasters Leaders Club mission is to create a friendly learning environment of mutual support, where each member is able to improve his communication and leadership skills that build self-confidence and achieve personal development.

During the workshops you will learn how to:

  • prepare a speech and present yourself in an attractive way,
  • deliver persuasive speeches and convince listeners to your point of view,
  • use visual aids freely while speaking,
  • present information gathered from various sources and boost the presentation with examples and images,
  • modulate your voice – how to change the volume, tone and speed of speaking,
  • reinforce the message through appropriate body language – the posture, movements, gestures and mimicry,
  • build a speech using correct vocabulary and syntax.

When and where?

The Club’s meetings take place every Wednesday between 6.15 pm and 8.30 pm in the School’s building, room number 101 on the first floor and room number 300 on the third floor.

The first time you can visit these meetings as a guest so will not have to pay any charges. And then, if you decide to become a member of the Club, you will be obliged to pay the membership fee. At the end of the meeting you will be informed of the cost of the membership contribution and how to join the Club.

Come and see a meeting of the ToastMasters Leaders Club to decide if you would like to join the club. There is no need to sign up for the meeting in advance, just come to the meeting!

Additionally, every new member can count on support when preparing speeches – one can choose a mentor, i.e., a person who has been in the Club for a while and has expertise and experience helpful to novices during the first meetings.
