II Edition of
WUT BS PHOTO CONTEST 2009

The competition is organized at the initiative and in cooperation with students of Executive MBA 2007-09. All students, former students, lecturers and members of staff of our School are invited to participate in the 2nd Edition of the Competition in two categories:

A. "MBA- More than Money"

In category A image manipulation is admissible. The person participating in the competition has full copyrights or rights to use with regard to the materials used.

B. "Passion"

In category B image manipulation is not admissible. The submitted photo must have been taken by the person entering the competition.

EVALUATION
The competition will be judged by a Panel of Judges appointed by WUT Business School.

1/ Marcin Janiszewski - Artist Photographer linked with Axel Springer Publishing House

2/ Konrad Siuda - Artist Designer, former Creative Director of Newsweek Polska and Gazeta Prawna, now working in cooperation with Przegląd Sportowy.

3/ dr Zbigniew Turowski - WUTBS Deputy Director.

The judges will take into consideration:
1/ concept
2/ creativity
3/ compositional accuracy
4/ technical accuracy

COMPETITION RESULTS
The competition results will be announced at the Christmas Eve Party on 10 December 2009. All photos will be presented at an art show during the Christmas Event and published in a Photo Gallery available on a special website.

AWARD

The winners in both categories will be awarded a statuette.

Diplomas will be given to those who rank the second and third prize in each category of the competition and Public Vote.

 

RULES OF ENTERING THE COMPETITION:

To enter the competition, please acknowledge the Terms and submit all of the following materials to WUT Business School, ul. Koszykowa 79, 02-008 Warszawa in an envelope marked with "Photo Contest 2009" note:

1/ Printed photo (size min. 10x15 cm, max. 20x30 cm)
2/ Photos recorded on CD/DVD in JPG. format (size no less than 1024x758 pixels)
3/ Filled in entry form (download Entry Form WORD) (or PDF)

Entrants are allowed to send their entry forms and photos entering the competition by e-mail, at photo@business.edu.pl  but the organizers do not take responsibility for the quality of printed photos.

Entries are accepted to 20 November 2009.
