Conference 13.10.2017

Koniec transformacji? Przyszłość wolnego rynku w Polsce i na świecie

The conference was held on the 13th of October 2017 in the Main Building
at the Warsaw University of Technology,  Warsaw, Plac Politechniki 1

After 25 years of social and economic changes in Poland, it is time to announce the end of the transformation and to look at its effects. Poland has built a strong economy and open society by modeling on Western solutions, bringing its own understanding of the market, the role of the state and labour relations. Can we talk about "Polish economic model" as something considerably distinct from Western solutions? At what have we achieved the desired aim and what still needs to be changed? How does Polish capitalism look in the face of the world capitalism? What are the lessons of the global crisis?
